Question by cocoanutt: Need advice on parenting schedule with a divorce?
My husband and I have been seperated for over a year. We can’t finalize our divorce until we agree on how to word the parenting time. We have joint custody, but my home is the kids’ primary residence. Is it better to specify a schedule now? Does anyone have any examples?
p.s. My ex lives two blocks from me, which makes it easy to rearrange the schedule.

Answer by msrdbone I have a friend who has the same sort of ordeal…they swap weeks…you get two and he gets two…being that you live so close, it shouldn’t be too much of a discomfort for the kids…
Question by Smart Kat: What are some qood sites, quotes of other advice for divorcing parents clashing over parenting?
The oldest was having trouble at school and the father (custodial parent) was supposed to have a meeting with the child and teacher. But the kid called mom and got her to pick her up early from school – avoiding school and the meeting.
Both of the parents need to communicate more for the sake of the chld rather than just doing the opposite of what the other parent wants out of spite.
