Question by blessedmommy1984: Legal advice please! I am separated my divorce is soon, and mine is settled and legal so my end is taken care?
of, the guy I am seeing isn’t with his wife but they aren’t legally separated they’re just living in different house holds, he and I want to see each other, but are worried about her using it against his when they go to the lawyer at the end of the month, he never cheated on her, but she tries to throw up his talking and texting me when she pulls up his phone records on the computer, I used to be friends with his wife and I know how she works this isn’t the first time they’ve been apart and she trys to control everything, he doesn’t want it to be like this,he wants to be with me but we don’t really know what to do, we don’t want to wait until the end of the month to see each other but if we have to I suppose we just do, what the best advice you can give me? Thank you
theirs more to the storey I just didnt want to lay it all out they’re arent togther because she cheated and he caught her, he and I didnt hang out until he moved out,he does have an appointment with an attorney on the 29th to get their legal seperation but the holidays slowed the process down! And as far as my marriage my husband was abusive so its LONG gone!
The question is if they arent living togther and we see eachother can that be used against him?

mSavvy question Divorce? I look forward advice.NYS legal?
I and my husband and our 2 son lived together with our current address for eight years. One of our children have on your own (19yrs.old) left and we have another year of 17 years at home. Now my husband had an affair and after much turmoil and debate we have decided to fix things. Now its 3 months have now and nothing has really changed. In fact, he accuses me to sleep now when I get home at the end of the work and he is so wrong about me not now because of what he did worried. So now were back on the divorce and did not want to back together in 2 weeks. He says he will move this weekend, taking our son with him. He stopped paying the mortgage and any account (most are still solid, including mortgage) and live in an apartment that we rented. I helped raise him in building his company and for our children and confiscated to do my career. What am I responsible for bills under these terms? Almost all are in his name Best Answer.

If I move out now,can she use it against me ;Grounds:Abandonment in the future?

Answer by rose
It is time to get out, and get the divorce. The only way she could get you on abandonment is if you stop all contact with the underage children for 6 months or more. It is time for you to be happy and think of yourself for a change, and include your children in the change as well, you can be more than a weekend father, like most.

Question by Bon Bon: are there any websites that offers free legal advice regarding divorces?
i am considering divorcing my husband but there are a few questions that i need to ask. are there any websites that offers free advice?
Best answer:
Answer by Hope
I don’t know of any web sites however, it would be best to consult with an attorney in your area. I know alot of attorneys in my area do a free consultation. Make a list of all your questions you want answered and have them ready so you don’t forget anything and call some attorneys and hopefully they will advise you of everything you need to know. Good luck!!

Question by arizona mom: After a divorce, when minor children are involved, I need free legal advice on the fathers rights….?
Is it legal for the custodial parent (mother) to use a fraudulant last name for their child in school and when registering their child in organizations such as dance classes, athletic leagues, church, pagaents etc. against the non-custodial parents wishes? My husbands ex-wife is doing exactly this in our town. She refuses to refer to their daughter by my husbands last name (which is on her birth certificate) even though he has talked to her many times on this issue and it is confusing there daughter who is 12. Does my husband have a legal right to stop her from doing this?
This is to C_Bar: I did not think that the mother could change her childs last name unless the biological father gives up his rights to the child. My husband has weekend and holiday visitation with their daughter and faithfully pays child support and this woman is still giving their daughter her new husbands last name.

Actually yes there are serious legal problems with it. You need to go see a lawyer right away. It can cause horrid problems for the children now AND in the future.
