He returned to the United States and his wife returned to Iraq. They have no children together, and now has decided to file a divorce because the marriage is irretrievably broken. They have no property together. Are considered divorce in the Islamic world. But they need a divorce to be honored in the United States government. Both want to move forward.</p>
