we own a 12 acre farm. parents are trying to divorce. dad threw mom in jail and might have gotten a PPO. so what now? both names are on house. we have 10 horses. most i purchased my self. all my stuff is there but were kicked out. (i’m daughter) what n earth should i do? he also refuses to FEED or WATER any animals we have 2 pit bulls freezing in the winter cold now. will that make a difference? and any legal actions we may take, THE ANIMALS WILL DIE. not willing to try to give them away they are $ 3,000 horses and my family? thanks ANY HELP WILL HELP! please repost in correct section for me or refer to it for me? thanks!

If you are an adult and were not named in the protective order you go there and get any animals you are the owner of. If you were named in the order then you will have to arrange for the police to go with you and get your stuff. If you are not the legal owner of the animals contact your local humane society and tell them about the animals and the conditions they are left in.
