I am British but married to a Romanian in 2001. We separated and I want to begin divorce proceedings. Our marriage was registered in Romania. Does anyone have any advice and / or options? We also have a child who is with his mother in Romania.

Marcos, the first thing to do is go to a domestic relations attorney who can practice at international level. You can apply for divorce in the British Isles or anywhere in life, once restored residence there. However, there are complications for the baby. If you want visitation rights, and the mother denies it, you’ll go to court to get it resolved. The first step is to go to a lawyer, the kind that I described and get the thing started. He will answer all your questions for you. Good luck to you!

when two people meet and fall in love marriage is bcause they were sure about other commitments. but it seems somehow to pass the time, instead of guaranteeing the bonds of love, trust and unity in marriage. stupid people start believeing that there is someone out there waiting to give all these things, no, I’m sad, and the child. .
