How to file for divorce – Divorce advice for women

Can someone please answer this question?In community property, as practised in California and several other states in the U. S. , most property acquired during the marriage (except for gifts or inheritances} is owned jointly by both spouses and is divided upon divorce, annulment or death. Assuming a spouse is more diligent, focused, determined and more successful than the other during the marriage, is it fair for the court during divorce to divide the property “owned jointly” into 50/50?
